"Every photograph is like a memory, it contains a little bit of the photographer who pressed the shutter button. Since life is short and unpredictable, pictures pin those memories so that they can last forever and anyone can see how I perceived the world.
Alessandro Greganti is a street photographer based in Turin (Italy), where he lives and works in IT at the University of Turin. The mobile photography instills new life into his photographic passion at end of 2010, when he discovers the works of the early pioneers of this new way of taking pictures. His renewed desire to go out shooting leads him to experiment strengths and weaknesses of this new tool, which soon becomes his main camera. He believes that the advantage of taking pictures with a mobile phone is that you always have it in your pocket, hence the proliferation ofphotographic opportunities. At the same time, in order to deal with its technical limitations, the photographer is forced to pay more attention to factors such as composition and light.
Unorganized, quite lazy, not free from some problems with the English language, he disclosed a visceral passion for everything related to people, street life and photography, especially when these three factors occur at the same time.
He’s been featured in many websites dealing with mobile and traditional photography, his pictures have been exhibited in Great Britain (London Design Festival), Florida (Studio B. Light Impressions), Canada (IX Gallery during the 2012 CONTACT Photography Festival, Toronto), Italy (Paratissima 2012/2013, Turin) and, as a consequence of an honorable mention for the “street photography” category of the 2013 Mobile Photo Awards, in NYC (Soho Gallery For Digital Art).
He is currently still looking for the real reason that drives him to take photographs on the streets.

AlGrega™ ....He's a very hight idea's men; a kind of much sensitive one, from G.'s photos to traspare culture desire, moreover been satiated, wants of living, sure, but in the natural color. It appeals to me to number it between the of the unstoppable Revolution's “Scudieri” (=Warrior) , always and continuously changing, destined to replace equilibrium in the abominable lacks of balance that He, gradually, have been come to realize. The army without tradition's door to completion this revolution… in reality the “Underground” has found space in other people, comfortable and near dimensions: we are many and we give the welcome to you, even if this already you knew it. Good divertimento| { =happyness}. Continua così come hai già dimostrato. Buon viaggio!
