I got my first SLR when I was about 13, it was a fully manual Praktica with an internal light meter. It meant that every exposure had to be calculated and manually focussed - it was a good way to learn.

20 odd years later I am a Nikon man, and went fully digital in 2003. I have 2 Nikon D70 bodies and an assortment of lenses and odds & ends.

My main passion has been wildlife photography over the last few years, but I am branching out and with the birth of my first boy I now have a new subject! I also enjoy landscape, urban, travel & food (another great passion).
