I have been taking photographs (very much as an amateur) for over 40 years now. Wish I had more time to devote to it!

Started in the late 1970s with various cameras (mainly Olympus). During the 1980s, I also did some of my own black and white processing in the darkroom. In 2003 started moving over to digital.

All the photos here are taken by me, apart from one or two OF me (taken by a family member) and are copyright. Please do not use any images without my permission.

I use the Olympus cameras with various micro four-thirds lenses (and also four-thirds lenses with MMF-3 adapter). I use the Lumix as a ‘carry-in-pocket’ camera.

I also occasionally use an iPhone 12-mini.

Processing :

Currently using DxO Photolab 5 with Nik Plug-ins. Also, occasionally use Apps on iPad, such as : Snapseed, Lightroom and Affinity.

Hard to define exactly what I look for in other people's photographs. I suppose I am impressed with photographs that 'say' something......convey a meaning or nuance above and beyond the actual image. Alternatively I look for brilliant execution of a shot.
