It is my sixth year on Flickr! After getting so many great comments on my photo of my broken computer screen, I’ve decided to hang on to the device a bit longer and try to make some more color-shifted images.

Last year, I tried to create special portraits with my Aero-Ektar lens, but it didn’t quite work out. Maybe this year will be the year! And of course, I’m planning to take lots of large-format panoramas with my Shen Hao camera. I’m really looking forward to seeing how everything turns out.

History

I've actually been taking photos since I was a child. My first camera was a Kodak bellows camera 6x9 that my father gave me. It didn't come with a light meter. My father told me: In the afternoon, when the sun is shining, set the exposure time to 125 and the aperture to 8... That's how I learned to take photos!

I always took 35mm photos - later digital 35mm, until my daughter needed a camera for her training. I gave her my Nikon D7000 and looked around for an alternative. I discovered that it was still possible to buy and develop analogue film. Then I found a Mamiya RB67 - my dream camera from the past and I couldn't resist buying it. It was then only a stone's throw from medium format to large format.
