There is, within me, a growing attraction to the silence of black and white.

A desire to strip the image of its colors, to better reveal its soul.

In monochrome photography, I search for the light that sculpts, the shadow that tells a story,

the grain that whispers what words leave unsaid.

It’s a different way of seeing the world — slower, deeper.

Each contrast becomes a heartbeat, each shade of gray, a raw emotion.

What I seek to capture is not reality as it is,

but the breath it leaves behind, the invisible trace of the moment.

To photograph in black and white

is to choose to see differently,

and perhaps, to see oneself differently too.

Il y a, en moi, une attirance grandissante pour le silence du noir et blanc.

Une envie de dépouiller l’image de ses couleurs, pour mieux en révéler l’âme.

Dans la photographie monochrome, je cherche la lumière qui sculpte, l’ombre qui raconte,

le grain qui chuchote ce que les mots taisent.

C’est un regard différent sur le monde — plus lent, plus profond.

Chaque contraste devient un battement, chaque nuance de gris, une émotion à nu.

Ce que je veux capter, ce n’est pas le réel tel qu’il est,

mais le souffle qu’il laisse, la trace invisible de l’instant.

Photographier en noir et blanc,

c’est choisir de voir autrement,

et peut-être, de se voir autrement aussi.
