I have a Nikon D3000 (for now and lots of days to come) with the kit lense and a 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor. I don't normally like filters unless the situation really asks for it, and that's about all. However, I also use whatever falls into my hands, so it is possible that you will see a stunning shot taken with a D300 and a 105mm. Don't get too excited, it will probably be just that one.
