It's about time I updated my profile, seeing it had a bunch of outdated information...

Hi there - Thanks for visiting! What would you like to know about me?

I'm a young male, fresh out of college, single, enjoy long walks on the beach (BRING A TENT! xkcd.com/120/ ), and occasionally taking photographs of interesting things I see while out on my walks, riding my bike, or doing many of the other random things I enjoy.

I live in Burlington VT - one of the coolest little cities in the country. I am the technology coordinator at Vermont's largest (well, only) aquarium - ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center - right on the waterfront. It's an awesome place to work, and when I'm not too busy hiding in a server room or AV closets, you might just spot me demoing snakes, turtles, or seastars for the thousands of kids and families that come through our doors. It's the perfect job for the geek who's also a nature lover and never quite grew out of the 9 year old stage. Keep an eye out for turtle and frog photos... and sunsets off our deck over the Lake.

When I'm not too busy working, or sleeping, I like to ride my bike. A lot. Over mountains. For hours. Like, 80 to 100 miles. Yea. Cameras are too heavy, but you'll occasionally find some cellphone snapshots from those. I also love hiking, kayaking, and camping - the best memories of my entire life are of crisp fall weekends camping with my family when I was younger. I used to alpine ski when I was younger, but haven't really had much interest lately... too commercialized and expensive.

I've been too cheep to spring for the Pro account, so I tend to randomly upload a few of my favorite photos when I notice it's been a while. I do however keep ALL of my photos online. Contact me if you like what you see, and I'd be happy to show you where to look for more!
