The city is a treasure, because it contains all art, all humanity. I love the evocative and atavistic silence that, in the small hours of the night, gives Her—once noisy—the flavor of thousands of past lives, a sense of almost eternal omniscience.

I tell the story of cities and landscapes through geometries, atmospheres, and details that often escape the common eye. I alternate the light of day, which sculpts lines and volumes, with the silence of night, when the urban space becomes more intimate, suspended, almost literary.

I occasionally photograph natural elements as a delicate counterpoint to the solidity of architecture. I am also drawn to urban decay — the traces of time, what crumbles yet continues to speak.

I manage two Flickr groups dedicated to urban and decadent visions:

La città è lo scrigno degli scrigni, perché contiene tutta l’arte, tutta l’umanità. Amo il silenzio evocatore ed atavico che, nelle piccole ore della notte, dona a Lei, prima chiassosa, il sapore di migliaia di vite passate, un sentore di quasi eterna onniscienza.

Racconto le città e il territorio attraverso geometrie, atmosfere e dettagli che spesso sfuggono allo sguardo comune. Alterno la luce del giorno, che scolpisce linee e volumi, al silenzio della notte, quando lo spazio urbano diventa più intimo, sospeso, quasi letterario.

Occasionalmente fotografo anche elementi naturali come contrappunto delicato alla solidità dell’architettura. Amo anche la decadenza urbana, le tracce del tempo, ciò che si sgretola e continua a parlare.
