in 1990 my husband and I moved from London's fast lane to life in the slow lane in Alderney, Channel Islands. It's a charming and unspoilt place and there is a great community spirit with fun-loving people.

To give you an idea of life on the Rock, I will be posting images of events happening here throughout the year - most organised by unpaid volunteers, and enjoyed by everybody - residents and visitors alike, whatever their age.
