I live in Atlanta and have my whole life except for the 3 1/2 years I lived in Athens, GA.

My passion for photography started two years ago when I took over the position of Yearbook Adviser where I teach and a camera became permanently attached to my hand. I am constantly seeking to learn more about all kinds of photography.

My current focus is on animals, as you can tell from the stream. The bulldog belongs to my husband and me; she is my shadow and she loves the camera. Her name is Aspen.

I just got a Nikon D90 and I use Adobe Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS4.

I want to use photography to capture the JOY in people.
