Alberto is a student, as well as amateur and hobbyist photographer from the Los Angeles area. Having only taken one course in photography, he is a self-taught photographer. He has learned about photography from various books, Web sites, blogs, and through the many photographers he has encountered online and through his travels, whose work has provided much inspiration.

 

Alberto’s specialty is landscape and nature photography (but mostly the former). One of his goals is to eventually visit and photograph every one of America’s National Parks and scenic areas. An ongoing project is to photograph Los Angeles, and to try to capture what makes the city unique: the scenery, the buildings, the lifestyle, the weather, its people, etc… He also periodically likes to photograph his dog Rocko, goings on around town, and other miscellaneous subjects.
