Pentax K100d Super

Sigma DP-1

Leica Digilux 2

'Lost the Sigma while covering some lions in Verde Valley. The Pentax found a new home attached to a Meade Refractor Telescope. 'still kept some legacy lenses because we still like to dream of a full frame Pentax. Maybe someday. The Leica has been with me through the desert landscapes of Sedona, AZ and the Valley of Fire, NV as well as the frozen forests of Flagstaff, Lake Tahoe and Mt. Charleston. It survived a hike to the basin of the Grand Canyon, a dust storm in Phoenix, and an avalanche of kids during the winter holidays. Its not high tech, it doesn't have the bells and whistles like multiple focus points, face recognition, or automatic everything, but I've learned to respect it despite its limitations. Maybe I'll get a new camera someday, but until then, we'll be saving those precious memories with this trusty old snapper for now. After all, they did say that life is like a camera. Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't turn out – take another shot. Cheers!
