I am a genuine Alaskan woman, born when my Alaska was just a territory of the United States. I live, breathe and love the outdoors....the wild, remote wilderness....the abundant wildlife....the hidden lakes, cold, clear rivers and the aura and mystic of the Last Frontier. I am not a professional photographer, just a content amatuer, but I do enjoy capturing all the many things I enjoy about living in my beautiful state, and being able to reflect back years later via an image that I shot. I do not feel the need to join groups, or to earn stickers or awards. I take photo's for my own enjoyment. If someone happens to stumble across one of my photo's, and it brings a smile to their face, or stirs up an emotion....well then, that is all the compliment I truly need.
