I have spent many years as a keen aviation photographer and have had photos and articles published in the national aviation press.

I enjoy travel and have always packed a camera wherever I go. Liverpool 08 got me looking at my city in a new light and seeing what a photogenic place my home town really is. I'm making slow progress in breaking out of the workflows that I have been used to and I'm learning something new every day.

I know I tend to want to show my city in a good light, concentrating on the good things. I know the gritty stuff is out there but there are already enough people out there who will show my city in a bad light - I'm here to re-dress the balance.
