I am a lifelong transgendered woman. My earliest recollection of wanting to be a girl is when I was around 5-6 years old. I have always wanted to have SRS, but circumstances and finances stood in the way and, now that things are different, I’m exploring the paths open to a soon-to-be senior citizen. I have been off and on hormones in the past; I’d love to hear from other girls who started this journey later in life. My spouse is very aware of this part of me and has provided tentative support over the years.
