summer of 1976

During a beautiful summer night of 1976, I decided to watch a bright star close to the horizon with binoculars. I was absolutely stupefied to see as much shinning stars surrounding the naked eye visible star. So, i am a passionate stargazer from the age of eight.

About fifteen years later, I tried the technique of long exposure photography with a camera on a tripod as seen on a photo magazine. My first pictures were taken at Quebec City by night. I was surprised to see the night lights of Quebec City on film. Since then, i like photography.

Since the last ten years, some amateur astronomers friends shared with me their passion about the aurora photography and other atmospheric phenomenae. In recent times, another passion was born, the astrophotography.
