Tim's work has inspired me to walk through overgrown fields that I'm sure are full of snakes, get in old houses that are full of spiderwebs and spiders, and cruise the countryside looking for things that probably won't be around much longer. Being a History teacher, I think its important to save the things that most people don't feel are as important right now as they will in a few years when they are gone. I know Tim feels the same way, and he is doing a superb job documenting the history and the feel of the South. Anyways, someday I hope to be able to turn out the type of work he does.

Tim a.k.a. (Alabama Geographer)'s creative style and his interest in many subjects makes it a very enjoyable experience to visit his photostream. Tim a.k.a. (Alabama Geographer)'s creative style and his interest in many subjects makes it a very enjoyable experience to visit his photostream. I love how Tim is not afraid to turn a picture into a work of art through digital rendering. He is very good at this! I am also moved by his inclusion of his wonderful family in his hobby. I look forward to new posts from Tim as I know they will be well represented. He has captured some oustanding shots in the beauty that surrounds him... and a time or two, he has made me laugh. ;) There are times that I have been out capturing photos only to find that Tim has been out capturing very similar shots on the very same day!!! Knowing Tim's background, I could swear that he had somebody spying on me... (just kidding Tim)... It does make me laugh sometimes though! ;) Keep up the great work Tim!!!
