My name is Amy I'm a mess maker and I'm blind.

Ok first I should probably elaborate on that last bit.. 1 in 4 blind people have residual sight it's pretty poor but it's better than nothing!.

I enjoy, music, movies, painting, writing, reading (well listening to audio books), cooking, gardening, knitting, history. traveling and crafting.

I switch between two cameras both Fujifilm one is a Finepix s800 and the other is a finepix I think (can't remember) anyway it should give you this info on the photos unless it's from an older flickr account in which case it will probably be blank.

I don't claim that my photography is any good I don't do it for other people. I do it because it's fun and I love seeing what is out there when I get it on a computer screen close up. I pretty much just point and shoot, it's exciting seeing a world you were completely unaware of while you were standing there.

I'm quite a shy person don't really like crowds and I like my space, classical would be my music of choice, fantasy/adventure/historical drama would be my book of choice, pizza over anything except perhaps chocolate ice cream.

I live at home (it's cheaper, not to mention safer) that way, I have a 2 year old golden retriever called Ellie (she's my guide dog) and I'm thinking of getting a goldfish. lol
