Nature is what inspires me most. My studio is out in the forest so I'm immersed in nature all day long. I find many of my ideas: outdoors in my garden, while out hiking local trails, paddling my kayak on nearby lakes or skiing the backcountry. I take my camera with me everywhere I go and take pohotos of interesting scenes that I might use for my stained glass designs and patterns. Many of my pieces are framed using locally collected driftwood, built by my husband John. The driftwood adds a soft rustic feel complimenting the wide color variations found in glass.
