akozlov is my hero. Well, one of them anyway. At least here on Flickr. His work never fails to interest me and usually on several different levels. I like his portraits best of all and not just because they are so damn good but because I actually can feel the engagement of the photographer with the subject in the taking of the pictures. There are kids, women, men, young and old alike, and you just know that akozlov really likes them and, more importantly, they really like him. And that's worth something in this world of ours. When I grow younger, I want to be like akozlov.
