A lifelong aviation enthusiast, this site serves as my own 'photo-blog'. I have an enthusiasm for all aircraft, civil and military, large and small, old and new. I am UK based, but also travel in Europe and worldwide. I will generally photograph every aircraft I can and usually try to post at least 1 shot of each, depending on quality.
That's probably why I'm usually a couple of years behind with posting!
I try to back up my images with information on the subject. For current military I use the Scramble Orbats and databases, for postwar British military i use ukserials.com, for civil I use rzjets.net, for warbirds the work of the late Geoff Goodall is invaluable whilst the late Joe Baugher's pages contain comprehensive information on ALL US military aircraft. If I use information from other sites, including Museum websites, I will usually try to mention it in the text. Whilst I take a lot of time over my descriptions errors do creep in and I really do appreciated being corrected if you spot something that doesn't look right.
Generally, these pages will be aviation although I also have a love for railways and steam engines, as well as an interest in military vehicles, so these often appear when I come across them.
And finally... thanks for looking! It is much appreciated.
