I live in a suburb of Cleveland, OH with my husband and two boys (11 and 8). I havea background in biomedial engineering and currently work as a clinical trial research manager. My husband is a high school science teacher and a hockey coach. I have been sewing off and on for as long as I can remember (my aunt used to make Halloween costumes with me and my sisters as kids). 13 years ago I started quilting but I got more serious about 5 years ago and have been on a roll since. I consider myself a modern traditionalist. I love modern fabrics and traditional blocks and techniques. I also enjoy paper piecing and embroidery (although my hand-work could use some practice).
