My interest in photography began when I borrowed a slr from a relation to photograph a family event. I was amazed with the results. The shallow depth of field that I had never seen in any photos that I had taken before using my smalll automatics before. It was some years later that I could afford to take the plunge and I bought my first SLR it was digital rather than film and I have been happy shooting all around me since. That very same camera a Canon 400d was passed on to my sister and is still in use today.
I moved onto the very reliable 40d and then the 7d which was without a doubt Canons best ever DSLR and I regret selling it. However I took another leap of faith and moved to the full frame 5d M2. I missed the speed of the 7d but the 5d is super fr landscape and portrait work. Now the 5d m3 has given me the controls and speed of the 7d with a super AF system. It's like two great cameras combined to make us all go WOW.
My lenses include the 16-35 2.8L, 24-70 2.8L, 50 1.8, 70-200 2.8L, Sigma 120-400, sigma 105 macro. Canon 2x extender. Other equipment includes 2x 580exII, elinchrom dlite it 4 kit. Lastolite hilite popup backdrop, manfroto tripod with a trigger grip head and a three way head also. Reflectors, remote releases, filters etc.
I welcome your comments and advice etc on any of my photography so please feel free to leave comments good or bad, after all how else can I improve?
