I an a natural history photographer first and foremost , what a lack in talent I try to make up for in bloody mindiness, and patience. Both essential for Nature photography .

Andrew Haynes...what a photographer, and what an absolute pleasure to have him as a friend on flickr. Andy's talent and ability behind the camera are only supassed by his kindness, generosity of spirit and the encouragement he gives to others who aspire to his standard of photography...an aspiration which is way beyond my reach but one I love to appreciate in his work. The images which can be seen on ajh2008's stream are, without a doubt, worthy of a place in National Geographic magazine...and indeed on the cover! Andy doesn't post a photograph every day, so there is always that wonderful feeling of anticipation to see what is coming next...and I can honestly say that when he does I am never disappointed. Exquisite photography time and time again. Thank you Andy for the pleasure you bring to us with your work...YOU are a star:)

" I love the softness of the feather detail Andy and the marvellous clarity of your shot. You really do come up with the goods. It becomes a little monotonous to keep saying how good each photograph is however appropriate it maybe to do so. The combination of a good camera and lens and your ability to use them well speaks for itself throughout your stream. That, coupled with your knowledge and dedication to the subject do you great credit. " ................ Just one of many comments praising the quality of Andy's photography. I have been priviledged to become acquanted with Andrew Haynes photography over a good period of time. As can be seen from his excellent photographs here on flickr, his dedication to the subject is second to none and his expertise with the camera self evident when viewing his photostream. We have made contact through these pages on many occasions and I have always found him to be both helpful and courteous in reply. Andrew's love and knowledge of natural history subjects - especially birds, is matched by his enthusiasm which has a tendancy to rub off on his many contacts. At times we have enjoyed a little light hearted banter together. Long may it continue.

Andy is nature's friend. He works hard to produce quality compelling images that reveal a world people often fail to pause to appreciate. Without more people like Andy we might just burn up the planet and leave nothing for the next generation. Keep up the great work Andy - you've got an excellent stream!
