I’m a currently a PhD candidate at Simon Fraser University. My current research deals with insect communication, specifically the use of polarized light as a foraging cue in herbivorous insects.

In addition to entomology, I am also an avid birder and and an amateur field botanist. My photography generally centers around these interests but I also like to experiment with new subjects.
