About Travelure

The website Travelure started in May 2015. It began as an aggregation of Ajay Sood’s articles published in travel, in-flight, and photography publications like Condé Nast Traveller, Huffington Post, JetWings, Travel3Sixty°, Smart Photography, Taj Magazine, GoGetter, etc. Travelure simply means building a lure of travel among its readers.

Along the way, ‘Travelure‘ began featuring in numerous ‘Top Bloggers’ lists. Notable amongst them were ‘Thrillophilia’, ‘Holidify’, ‘Indian Top Blogs’, etc. Recently, ‘Travelure‘ was declared the 2018 winner of the Best PhotoBlog Award by Gujarat Tourism and Innovative Council of Indian Tourism (ICIT).

In 2015, ‘Travelure’ also won Cox & Kings’ #GrabYourDream Contest – India’s biggest travel blogging contest. It had whopping participation from over 15,000 Indian bloggers and digital content creators.

In the short period of its existence, ‘Travelure’ has inspired a large number of readers. Over 1600 comments by these readers in about 40 months go to show that. ‘Travelure’ has a strong presence as a blog, thanks to some stunning travel photography that makes destinations desirable.
