I enjoy both photography and lately, photoshop. My influences are other artists both past and present. I enjoy browsing a gallery or an art book/magazine, and basically trying to analyse what makes a great image tick – lighting, mood, composition, post processing….and so on.

In my photography, I look for an unusual perspective, and try to play with the DOF.

Composites are a new area for me, and at this point, the technical side is taking a lot longer. I am fascinated with some of the art on flickr, and that provides an endless feed of inspiration.

As to my digital painting, I am leaning towards impressionism, surrealism and abstraction, saving my realism for my traditional photographs.
