Have you ever wondered what flickr would be like without [insert name here]? Iris is the name I often place within those brackets. I think that without her, flickr would be a less friendly, less beautiful place. Her shots are an inspiration to all who exult in floral photography, and her friendship and encouragement keep us coming back. This leads me to wonder what the world would be like without her, not just flickr. Well, I think all the flowers and colors and sheer beauty on this little planet would be worth a lot less!

I have known Iris for our common love in art found in water droplets. As time went by, I have discovered the true Iris, a wonderful and sincere friend. Her talent in photography always leaves me breathless no matter how simple the subject may be. She manages to capture the very essence of the subject by creating a perfect focus of the very heart and enhanced with the incredible bokeh. Her love for nature is so evident in her stream and she perfectly captures them and present them before our eyes. Combined with her talent and friendship, Iris became very dear to me. I have the honour to write the first testimonial for Iris... She hasn't been here in flickr for long but in this time she turned out to be a most wonderful and caring friend! Her comments are always wonderful intense... I feel she really gets in touch with my photographs, my way of looking at the world (mostly flowers...). And - as important - I love her way of photography! She has a wonderful ability for human portraits... they are just great. And with her way to capture the flowers and leaves on her path I really feel very close to her (we even share the same macro lens..). She has a wonderful way of balancing the colours and the light. Meeting Iris really has enriched my life!
