For as long as I can remember I have found joy in snapping away with everything from disposable cameras as a kid to regular point and shoots - most likely trying to be like my mum, who I have watched take and develop photos with the same delight.

Last year I got my first DSLR, took a photography class at my local community college and joined my local camera club and flickr of course. I simply love learning and being inspired by the talented people around me and hope that my happy snapping is developing into something more interesting as I learn.
