I grew up in Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada and started taking photographs during backcountry canoe trips when I was in highschool. I spent several summers back then guiding trips for the Scouts on the Churchill River System. After spending some time in Europe, I took Chemical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, then moved to Alberta to persue a career in developing water treatment and recycling technologies. I took up photography again when I started spending a lot of time driving and travelling around North America for work. Photography was a great way and reason to take a break every now and then explore something interesting. I now always keep a camera with me, just in case something catches my eye. I currently live and work in Fort Worth Texas where I am working on an oilfield water recycling project (hence all the pictures of drilling rigs). I just bought a DSLR for the first time, so I'm hoping I can continue to expand my photography skills justify it!
