I don't usually write testimonials, because I'm never sure of what to say in order not to feel... fangirlish. But I simply had to write one about Rosa, because she is so incredibly inspiring. I came across Rosa's photography on a couple of tumblr pages, and fell immediately in love. So after a couple of weeks of lurking and geeking over her photostream, I decided to add her as a contact and now she is one of my biggest references on Flickr. Rosa's work is simply stunning. She captures reality with such magic, so adorably whimsical, that I find myself wanting to live that life, have those friends, see those places. I love how her shots are soft, yet so powerful, so completely full of emotions. It's never halfway, it's always a complete myriad of feelings. Rosa's photography is truly inspiring. It has made me want to try harder, be better, be more humble and especially, give myself to my art the way she does.

Now I hardly know where to start. Rosa is incredible. She has such an elegance and grace about her and her work that is very rare. She is also a fantastic writer (I have found her blog on occasion) and from what I hear quite talented musically also. What a gem! Rosa knows a lot about what makes a photo good. She has the unique poses, the interesting locations, the wonderful compositions and the lovely tones down pat. She is also a really lovely person. For no particular reason, today I went on light box and looked through your stream. With every click, I fell deeper into a state of awe. I couldn't believe how beautiful each of the photographs was. I had to hold myself back from faveing them and decided that instead, I was to write a testimonial. Rosa's work is incredibly inspiring. Even though many themes and locations repeat throughout her stream, she never fails to give each piece of work its own air of uniqueness. Her beautiful portrayal of the outdoors make me wish I lived in her photographs. Her color coordination always works well, and though I'm sure that it's been coldly calculated, seems natural. The simplicity in her work is invariably underlined by deep emotion and meaning. Her portraits tell a story. Rosa's photography is art. Rosa is probably my favorite photographer on flickr, because she shares so much of her world through her pictures and descriptions, and because her photographs are never less than breathtaking.
