I am a landscape artist currently working in South Manchester and Cheshire. The aim of my work is not to represent the physical appearance of the landscape but to express my own emotional response to its space, light, movement and atmosphere.

The majority of my recent work has been created using watercolour and aims to exploit its wonderful translucent qualities and potential to distribute pigment in highly expressive and unique ways. I envisage that over time my work will gradually become more abstracted and emotionally driven, and increasingly less concerned with individual forms and features within the landscape.
