Since a little boy, I have always been intrigued with photography. I used my dad’s Minolta 7000i, except during my point and shoot APS obsession, but I really never used my pa's camera it's full potential. Auto mode suited me just fine.

I did not get into the digital scene, point and shoot nor dslr, until February of 2007. At which time I bought a Sony α, it was a sensible transition from my Maxxum 7, so I thought. I have since bought a Maxxum 7D and shoot mostly with that. The 7D was easier to negotiate than the α, I should have just got it in the first place, but I was consumed in the megapixel war.

I have never taken a class, never had a fellow photographer to talk with and basically if I saw a shot that I liked I taught myself how to expose it. That is why I love digital, less money for film. Then came flickr into my life, it has indeed opened my eyes.

I know I am not stellar at photography, if anything at all. Any feedback, good and bad is welcome. Thank you for looking.
