Hello!

Thanks for visiting my Flickr account!

You're reading this because you wanted to see my profile information, which is great.

I am a Geologist by training and a Hydrogeologist by profession.

Photography is my hobby and the major turning point was when I got myself a Nikon DSLR back in 2008. Before that I have only a point & shoot camera, also Nikon, and somewhat I've realised that I need to have a better camera to take photos that depict accurately things that I actually see in reality. I think buying the Nikon D80 kit was the best investment that I have made thus far (alongside with additional lens and other camera accessories), judging by the satisfaction that I get from seeing my photos at flickr, and also the stream of viewers to my flickr site that I have never met in reality!

If you'd like to contact me about using one of my photos or buying one of my photos at high-res, please e-mail me directly at tkurus@gmail.com. Please use a meaningful subject header and do include my flickr nickname 'ahchong' if you need my urgent attention.

Most photos in my Flickr account are taken with Nikon D80 (bought December 2008), Nikon D7100 (to replace the stolen D80), Sony Cybershot and Nikon E4100. Mobile captures were from Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Samsung SG3, Sony Ericcson K750i, Nokia E71 and Nokia E72. Aerial photos and videos were taken using DJI Mavic Mini (1st generation).
