Hi.

I'm Alex Haglund:

Early 30's, From Oak Park, Live in Flora.

Photographically:

I Worked a a commercial photography assistant in Chicago when a youth group adviser gave me a job a week after high school graduation. Ended up going downstate for college and majored in Cinema and photography at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. And I grew to like Southern Illinois. Worked for a while in Chicago as an assistant and a school photographer. Then I got an offer for a job at the Clay County Advocate-Press (www.advocatepress.com), in Flora, Illinois, where I work as a reporter and photographer. I also do freelance photography, I second- shoot weddings and teach an introductory digital photography class through the local community college. I also have a blog (alexhaglundphotos.wordpress.com), which I update at indeterminate intervals. Come to think of it, that true for this Flickr site too.

Outside of that:

I like big sandwiches, the comedic antics of a certain cat and dog duo, South Park, X Box and Christopher Moore books....Oh, and I like fireworks too, can't leave those out.
