Agustin Fas is a Puerto Rico-based professional photographer who runs his own photography business and also works freelance. He specializes in wedding, special event, fashion, and commercial photography. He shoots in studio and on location and possesses the ability to be creative under pressure. Agustin works in both color and black & white film and his style is uniquely personal with a very modern twist. Most of all, Agustin likes helping people capture special moments in both traditional and less conventional settings.

Agustin always finds time to engage in his love for the outdoors while capturing the beauty of his Puerto Rico. His portfolio is remarkable in that it shows his ability to render a story through clever scene selection in his strive to capture people’s feelings. In his spare time, Agustin enjoys making short films of which some have been presented at festivals around Puerto Rico.

He pursued his bachelor’s degree at the prestigious Art Department of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico (San German Campus) graduating Magna Cum Laude in Visual Arts. He also completed minors in Photography and Painting/Graphic Arts. Agustin regularly keeps updated in his field by attending different workshops (Film and Editing Workshop at The Film Foundation and the National Geographic Workshop are but two of the many he has taken).

He also successfully competed for participation in the Creative Summit with Nickelodeon in 2008 (1 of 60 participants among 600 entries) and two of his photographs were selected from amongst hundreds as finalists in the photography contest sponsored by the Central American and Caribbean Sports Organization in commemoration of the XXI Central American and Caribbean Games which took place at Mayaguez, Puerto Rico in 2010.

In addition, Agustin has been invited to participate in collective art exhibitions such as Art & Film Picture, Westside, Expresiones, and Arte y Vino contra el Cancer.

His work is also prominently featured in Chick South and Ambiente y Color magazines which are two well known local fashion and interior design publications, respectively.
