My name is Agnes Heiða Skúladóttir and I live in Akureyri, Iceland. I´m a Biomedical Scientist and work in the lab in the local Hospital. I am married and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I´ve always been interested in photography and bought my first camera Minolta x-700 in 1986 when my first child was born. I had a couple of lenses and filters and a tripod and took a lot of pictures of my kids. When I had my first digital camera everything changed and I didn´t take as many pictures as I used to. I bought Canon EOS 450D in May 2009 and started to take pictures again after many years. And I love it! I joined flickr community in July 2009. I enrolled in NYIP (New York Institute of Photography) in the beginning of September 2009. I hope to learn to take better pictures and hopefully you will notice the difference! I bought my new camera Canon EOS 7D June 2011 and I am still learning to use it.
