My goal has become to stop taking pictures of beautiful things but still take beautiful pictures. It's a goal. It hasn't nearly been reached. Life's a journey, right? My philosophy regarding post-production is that anything goes. I'm not a photo journalist. I don't like pics that look over worked but I'm not inclined to throw out a shot because there is one leaf or twig that just didn't understand what I wanted it to do. If the image is beautiful, if it evokes some emotion then I'm good. I appreciate the school of thought that says you gotta bust your hump to get the shot and no 'cheating' allowed. It's just not what I'm after.
