I am first and foremost a dad of 3 awesome kids from witch I learn to appreciate a new magical world every day. And a husband to an eternal girl friend who drives me crazy!! She was the one who insisted on getting a bike when I was thinking on getting an experimental aircraft. And I thank her every day, cause the bike have truly bring us closer in many ways!!

I am a “Jack of all trades” that work for the United States Coast Guard. My primary job description in simple words is a “wrench turner”. Labeled as an Aviation Electrical technician. I work mostly on the hangar deck maintaining and fixing the MH-65c or the “ Dolphin” as most in the aviation community refer to our short range orange rescue helicopter. As part of my job I have to be qualified as an aircrew on the helicopter. My current position when I go flying is known as the “Flight Mech”. For all the Star Wars fans out there, I am just another astro droid or “R2D2”. Kind of a flight engineer overseeing the information display by the instrument panel / rescue hoist operator. The cockpit belongs to the pilots, the rest belongs to me. As part of our crew is the “Rescue Swimmers”. These mates are crazier than most of us in nature!! And in a search and rescue mission when they have to go down, out of the helo; the “flight mech” is the one who brings them into action and recovers them. We operate the hoist and coordinate the rescue with the pilots and the swimmer. I like to see my position in the Helo as the drummer on a band. We have the best seat on the house!!

I ve got many “hobies”. To simplify it: if I can break it and put it back togiehter ,, it becomes a hobbie!! But lately (a few years back) the photography have stick harder and harder in me. I had many jobs before the one with the USCG, and one of the most rewarding was as part of Luar Music. A record deal company for whom I was a Road maneger / jack of all trades. There I learned a lot about light and photography. Being a poet in nature it wasn’t difficult to look for similes and metaphors in pictures. I found photography to be in many ways a hiden unspoken language. Someone said “a picture says a thousand words”… Well I found that to be so truth!!
