"Nothing compares to the greatness of knowing you, Lord..."

 

And those words that were spoken and written by the apostle Paul apply just as much to our lives today as they did 2000 years ago when he wrote them.

 

That in our lives no matter where we could go,

or who we could meet

or what we could see

or what we could earn

or be given to us

or accomplished...

 

There is nothing in our lives

that will ever even come close to the greatness

of knowing Jesus Christ, our Lord!

I am a Christian.

Not only because I believe in Christ (devils believe in Him too!)

But because I am a follower of Christ.

 

A car in a garage doesn't make it a garage.

Same is true with a person who goes to church,

That doesn't make him a Christian.

 

I am far from being perfect.

I am a sinner just like anybody else.

One who is destined to spend eternity in damnation.

 

But I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

My self worth is determined NOT by people.

NOT by things.

NOT by anything.

But by His precious blood.

Shed on the cross as a penalty for my sins.

 

Religion is good but it cannot save.

Relationship with Jesus is all that matters.

 

I live to worship Jesus.
