I should have written this a long while ago, its certainly overdue! Alan is a superb photographer and a kind and generous contact. His love of the outdoors and the coast is very apparent and I look on in enjoyment and dare I say it, sometimes envy at the places he goes and the images he comes back with. They are a joy to view!! Anyone reading this should take some time to look through his images, in particular the black and white ones and in all honesty I don't think you would find better ones here on flickr!
