I really got into photography when I got my first DSLR, a gift from my father, in June 2006 About the same time I started experimenting with external infrared filters, and finally converted a D70, with which I have been shooting IR for about a year and a half. I also love any kind of nature photography--birds, macro, flora & fauna, scenery. I consider human art to be a weak reflection of the art of our Creator.

I appreciate any comments and hope you'll forgive me if I am tardy or remiss in giving a reply.

I am often asked for use of a photo in return for "credit". Please don't ask unless you are willing to give some compensation. I have put a lot of money, time and energy into these photos. Why should anyone expect photographers to give away their hard won work?

 

I hate to do it, but I have and will remove invites with obtrusive and ugly gif. files and group logos. I always appreciate a thoughtful comment, though.
