Keith enjoys working with organisations to help them identify the business crossroads they face and how this might impact the organisation in the medium to long term, developing strategic initiatives for development and change to position the business to take advantage of their specific crossroad of opportunity. He specialises in strategic business management & development, marketing & product management, international business development, PR & communications, executive mentoring, IPR and technology roadmapping.

He a has a real empathy with the challenges of developing innovative technology complex products and services and taking them into international markets and loves the excitement of finding marketing & communication solutions to these challenges. His international business experience is most at home in the US, Asia, the Middle East and Northern Europe where he run a host of joint venture (JV), marketing, product & sales companies and R&D groups.
Keith has specialised in helping business communicate with their stakeholders internally and externally. He has worked at the most senior levels in organisation across a broad range of sectors, managing media & marketing communications, media relations and crisis management both in his earlier corporate career and at Aegies Associates. His personal clients at Aegies Associates include The Bishop of Durham, The Church of England in the Diocese of Durham, St Aidan’s Church of England Academy, Techconsult UK. Keith’s work in acting as PR and Media counsel for The Bishop of Durham and The Diocese of Durham using his extensive experience of managing regional, national and international media and PR relationships, crisis management of situations and crisis has been essential in order to inform and protect reputations and promote positive engagement with media and stakeholders alike.
Keith takes the lead in all PR activity at Aegies Associates. He is a proactive advocate for good communication and PR practice and works tirelessly to ensure that clients gain every opportunity for positive PR.
Keith has written widely on the subjects of Market and Media Communications. A regular blogger and proponent of the use of social media including twitter and facebook to promote healthy relationships with stakeholders to form broad PR based market communication strategies.
Keith is also a British Press Photographers Association accredited professional and provides all of the PR visual media for Aegies Associates ltd and its clients. Keith’s picture credits include: The Sunday Times, The Times, The Mail, The Mail on Sunday, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sun, The Wall Street Journal, The Getty Images, AFP, The BBC / ITV / Sky websites as well as almost weekly coverage in regional and specialist media.
Keith’s PR images for client work were chosen to represent a ‘News Year in pictures in 2011’ for the BBC in the Tyne & Wear and Tyne Tees regions.Keith holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor Honours Degree in Electronics & Communication Technology. In addition, he holds Academic appointments with Durham University and the Open University where he teaches on MBA / MEng. programs in marketing, technology strategy and engineering design.
