Irish visual artist, presenting work in [and is concerned with] spaces where the location has a social, historical and architectural resonance.

I mainly work with actors, dancers, refugees to create a space where an actor or dancer can explore a particular script or action.

I’m interested in how art acts outside the gallery space; I have created installations in handball alleys [court, future perfect], video projections in disused creameries [milk+honey], video pieces in previously used film locations [iarsma_remnant] and theatrical spaces [act].

The work has been described as a collision between 'a past' [incident/event/legacy] and 'now' [codes of representation/transmission].
