My passion for photography started back in 2002, as I was visiting the National Parks of Utah and Nevada. I happened to really like my travel pictures, thanks to the beauty of the landscapes I had seen, and that's how I began enjoying taking pictures. I must admit the pictures themselves were quite horrible, but since then my interest in photography has never really diminished (and I like to think I've improved my photographic skills a little bit, too).

Most pictures I take will not end up in my photostream, because I have to be at least a little proud of what I'm presenting to you, and also because I mainly take pictures for family and friends (and these are of course intended to stay private).

I'm grateful for the inspiration and all the friendships that are building up here on Flickr. I try to reciprocate as much as I can when people visit my photostream, but I don't really add new contacts anymore because I want to stick to a manageable number of people I follow.
