Hi, And thanks for viewing my Photostream.

Im a 60+ Married with a Son & Daughter, and a Grand daughter, and a Grand son.

I live on the out skirts of Edinburgh, and some of the worlds best scenery, events, and happenings are only hours, if not minutes away.

My interest in photography goes back to the 1970s when my mum & dad brought me a Kodak instamatic and that, as they say was that.

Many thousands of photos, and several cameras later.....Zenit. Chinon CP7z. CanonSX10is. Canon60D, and an Canon80D. Im still takeing photos, still learning, and still photographing things I photographed with my little Instamatic.

Ive Recently Changed to a Canon R7 Mirrorless, it seems thats the way of camera technology .

Im trying to Broaden my horizons photographically by trying to photograph outher subjects other than 1940s events and steam trains.

I've upgraded my Filters to K&F system and Im very impressed with them, Also on a trip to Glencoe my trusty old tripod met its end, Ive now a carbon fibre K&F one, looking back I should have got the taller one, A wireless remote, So, nothing very outrageous in my camera bag.

I use Luminar Neo. Photomatix & Nik efex to make the best of my shots.

I don't belong to any photo clubs, just Flickr, the odd one or two to FB and photozine.

I also like reading, Heritage railways, and more recently 1940s re-enactment weekends at various locations around the country, music, Hi Fi, and most importantly my Family.
