I enjoy writing a testimonial about Mr Nicolas Valentin from Glasgow (Scotland) that I know virtually through Flickr’s pictures. I consider that the Nicolas’s pictures are a masterpieces. People, colours, shape and nature are the essence of the Valentin’s pictures. The power of his pictures relies solely on the emotions evoked by the nature. His mastery of landscapes, his imagination finding so many marvellous subjects and his consistently high quality images never cease to surprise and delight me. His photo revealing and making permanent every aspect of nature. Time and again is work demonstrates his perceptive eye and instinctive response. The natural colour treatment and the simply composition of many works which stay at the base fundamental of the magic world of the magistral picture takening.

The first time I saw Nicolas Valentin's Flickr collection, it took me 14 continuous hours to download the whole pictures without a moment's hesitation as they then were. I added them to my screen saver's list so that each time I will enjoy looking at this fantastic collection. For a short period of time that I didn't have any access to the internet, time dragged so tragically for me - believe me! Flickr must be extremely proud of itself to have Nicolas's photostream on it as many users will opt for his collection as their first choice. His pictures add not only a lively colour to photography but also a new dimension to the items we take for granted in our lives. Drowning oneself in his photos isn't anything unnatural!
