I love mountainous areas, the Adirondacks in particular , the people, the sights, the smells, -

everything. The Adirondacks are God's gift to us, and for that I say a big THANKS! There were years of my life where I was unable to do much photography. I have made the time in recent years, especially during the summer vacations, to take pictures. In the process, I have rediscovered the joys of 35mm and 120, while occasionally using my Olympus digital SLR and/or cell phone. I urge anyone reading this to take your 35mm (and Twin Lens Reflex) cameras out of the closet and start using them. Film is still available, albeit with less choice than there was in the glory days of the 1970's. Recommendations for 35mm and 120 film development? Dwayne's photo lab in Parsons Kansas, and Dale's Photo Lab in Florida (for 120). Personal favorites? Houses of Worship, train stations, abandoned buildings, landscapes, wildlife/animals, portraits (particularly of women), and oddball (and sometimes ugly) automobiles. I also like to look back (through photography) at the places I've been, and write about the people who were a part of my life, both the positive and the negative, happy/sad and everything in-between.
