A few maybe-not-quite-interesting facts:
I'm currently a web producer + design thinker, and am social enterprise obsessed. My company: unnormal.ca
At age 14, I started another company making software for Windows and MacOS. Closed shop at age 18 (when we moved to Canada).
My dad, a Baptist missionary, had the internet on his Atari handheld in 1990. By grade 3, we had 6 computers in our house, all running different operating systems.
Lived in Bangladesh for 10 years. Once was bucked off a water buffalo. Watched a gun fight from the roof of a church (then went in and had the service.)
When I was 23, I ran for Canadian parliament. (I didn't win.)
Thereafter wrote my undergrad thesis on electoral reform options for Canada.
I'm trying to start a company that will change the way the coffee industry works. (More info at ethicalcoffeechain.org)
I'm married to a beautiful girl, and we also made a beautiful girl. It's still hard for me to believe.
I currently live in Brantford, a little city that not only gave us the creators of the telephone, cirque du soleil, and the electron microscope, but also was once the second largest industrial centre in Canada.
