Hi, my name is Adam Huras.

I am currently a Fredericton Legislative Bureau reporter for the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal and president of the New Brunswick Legislative Press Gallery.

Previously, I was the TJ's provincial reporter in Moncton.

Before that, I was a staff sports writer, rewrite desk staffer, and an online editor at the National Post. And previous to that, I was the managing editor of the Ryersonian, photo editor at the Eyeopener and sports editor and general assignment reporter at the Independent Newspaper.

I originally joined this site with the thinking that the Independent, a 20,000 circulation weekly based in Brighton, Ontario, should have editorial representation on Flickr to complete the link between us and our close relationship with the community.

Since then, it has become a place to share some of my favourite photos taken while on assignment wherever journalism has taken me.
